Grange Carpets is Thornbury’s longest established carpet, flooring and curtain retailer

The business was established by two flooring professionals, Stephen Park and David Hiscox, who shared a common interest in steam railways. The name ‘Grange’ derives from the Great Western Railway locomotive class of the same name. A sketch of engine number 6840 ‘Hazeley Grange’ remains on the Grange Carpets stationery to this day.

At Grange Carpets, we take great pride in what we do, carefully selecting a range of fine carpets and floorings for our customers to choose from, including carpets only available from members of the Associated Carpet Group (ACG). We are always happy to take the time to provide our customers with advice as to the most suitable carpets or floor coverings and ensure all our carpets are expertly fitted by an experienced team.



Competitive Pricing

Our carpet price per square metre normally includes fitting* and yet our headline price per square metre is very often less than that charged by competitors who levy additional fitting charges. This makes our prices for the completed job very competitive.

Full Service

Apart from selling carpets, vinyl and laminate floors we also offer a range of underlays for carpet and laminate and all accessories including grippers and room bars to finish the look. We are also able to provide a range of services including uplift and disposal of old carpets, temporary removal of furniture to allow carpet fitting and curtain pole and rail fitting.
